Hi, I’m Rouba, a pharmacist, a PhD in Public Health, and—most importantly—a mom of two. Birdie was born from my own late-night parenting struggles: fumbling with buttons at 3 a.m., dressing a wriggly baby, and searching for clothes that were soft enough for delicate skin yet strong enough for everyday messes.
As a healthcare professional and a parent, I couldn’t settle for clothing that was just cute. I wanted babywear that was safe, gentle, and practical—without compromising on quality or style. That’s why I created Birdie: a baby clothing brand that merges comfort with everyday convenience.
Our babywear is crafted from 95% premium bamboo and 5% spandex—a naturally hypoallergenic, breathable, and sustainable fabric blend that’s incredibly soft and perfect for sensitive skin. Every piece is thoughtfully designed to make life easier, from magnetic closures that save time, to fabrics that stretch, breathe, and stay soft wash after wash.
